At Ordtek, our Survey Representatives play a pivotal role in ensuring the success and integrity of offshore UXO and geophysical survey projects. Acting as our on-site ambassadors, they maintain technical excellence and uphold the highest standards of safety, quality, and professionalism throughout every project phase.
Your Role
As a Survey Representative for Ordtek and Venterra Geoscience, you will oversee offshore survey operations on our behalf. You’ll collaborate closely with client teams, survey contractors, and vessel crews to ensure that surveys are conducted in accordance with project specifications and industry best practices.
Your technical knowledge, decision-making, and reporting will be vital in safeguarding data quality and supporting timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring UXO, EOD, MEC, and CWA survey operations
- Ensuring adherence to project-specific methodologies and safety protocols
- Providing on-site quality control and technical guidance
- Liaising between Ordtek, the client, and contractors
- Reporting daily progress and flagging any issues that may impact outcomes
Who We're Looking For
We’re always looking to connect with talented professionals with proven offshore survey experience. If you hold an advanced EOD certificate and the necessary offshore certifications (e.g. BOSIET, medicals, etc.), or if you’re a UXO Geophysicist or Client Rep with 5+ years of relevant survey experience, we want to hear from you.
Whether you’re a seasoned offshore operator or looking for your next international opportunity, we offer meaningful work on technically challenging and safety-critical projects.

Identification and mitigation of legacy munitions in complex marine environments.

Application of practical procedures for safely handling and neutralising ordnance threats.

MEC (Munitions and Explosives of Concern)
Expert classification and handling of munitions to ensure safe and compliant offshore operations.

Knowledge of historical chemical munitions and preparedness to manage potential seabed threats.

Experts in acquiring and quality-controlling UXO geophysical data, with extensive experience in survey interpretation and QC.
